Topps was founded in 1938 in Brooklyn by the four Shorin brothers and started out selling chewing gum. In 1950 the company first packed trading cards with its gum, and the first baseball cards followed in 1951. Since 2022 Topps has also published the UEFA Champions League sticker collections.
