FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar - Oryx Edition

About this collection

The Oryx Edition is the Swiss version of the Panini collection for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and contains 750 stickers. It was sold only in Switzerland and is easy to spot by its background: where the other editions are blue, the Oryx Edition is burgundy. Album and stickers use heavier paper. The content follows the standard edition with 32 teams of twenty stickers each; 50 images are printed on foil. The same album also exists as a standard edition, an international edition and a US edition. On top of that comes a separately sold update set of eighty stickers: 79 replacements for players who did not travel to the tournament, plus a Panini logo. It has a glossy finish and its own numbers, but no spaces in the album. Collector's note: three of the four editions hold 670 stickers, only the international one has 638 — it lacks the 32 team photos, which here take number 20 of each squad. Mixing them is not an option either: background colour and reverse set the editions apart, each one is collected on its own.
