Portugal – Fome de Vencer

About this collection

Portugal – Fome de Vencer is the Continente sticker album for the Portuguese national team at the 2018 World Cup, with 100 stickers. The title means “hunger to win”. Continente issued it together with Panini and the Portuguese football federation; the packets could not be bought in the shops but came free above a certain spend. Eighteen players appear with four stickers each, joined by the sections Flashes dos Campeões with match scenes, Equipa Técnica e Táticas with the coach and the formation, and Momentos Brilhantes. A collector's note: the fifteen stickers of the Momentos Brilhantes row look back on the Seleção's great nights — the 1966 World Cup semi-final in England, the 1984 European Championship semi-final in France, the home EURO of 2004 and the title won in 2016. Six tattoos round off the collection. At the World Cup in Russia, Portugal went out in the round of 16 against Uruguay.
