Mickey Mouse – 90 Years

About this collection

The Panini sticker collection for Mickey Mouse's 90th birthday appeared in 2018 with 276 stickers and 36 trading cards per national edition. The album follows Mickey's career in chronological order: from Walt Disney through the premiere of "Steamboat Willie" on 18 November 1928 — still Mickey's official birthday — and the beginnings of the newspaper strips, to the characters who have accompanied him ever since: Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Peg-Leg Pete, Chief O'Hara, the Phantom Blot, Eega Beeva and the Duck family. A section of its own gathers Mickey's adventures as a time traveller, city detective, reporter, archaeologist and space explorer; the album closes with a visit to Mickey's home and a birthday chapter. Collector's note: alongside the stickers come 36 thicker trading cards, which are not glued in but kept in pockets inside the album — in Germany each packet held five stickers and one card. The card series appeared in four national editions, each with its own numbering: C for Italy, K for Germany and Austria, W for France and X for Belgium. This catalogue lists all four series, so cards can be traded across borders too.
